Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can you help me with the design of my new kitchen, bathroom or laundry?

We have a team of experienced designers who can help create a space that is functional and aesthetically pleasing.

  • Will there be extra costs associated with purchasing my new kitchen?

At Gavin Cummings Kitchens, there are no hidden costs. We give our customers a detailed quote that includes all trades (unless you want to hire your own tradespeople).

  • Which benchtop should I choose; stone, timber or laminate?

The type of benchtop you choose is a personal preference. Composite stone is often preferred over laminate because it is more resistant than laminate. For those who prefer a natural look, you can choose granite or timber—although timber does require a little more maintenance. We can help you with your decision at our initial meeting.

  • Can I put a hot pan on my benchtop?

We do not recommend putting a hot pan on your benchtop as it may burn, stain or crack.

  • What extras can I have with my kitchen cabinets?

Our cabinet makers can incorporate a wide range of options into your kitchen. Our storage options include pullout bin systems, slide-out storage systems and wire storage systems.
